The drop in motivation when that first chilly southerly hits isn&#8217;t sudden; it&#8217;s the result of habits that were never properly set when the weather was on our side.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s have a straight-up chat about flipping the script. Instead of fighting a defensive battle against empty squat racks in winter, let&#8217;s go on the offensive this autumn.<\/p>\n<h2>The Pre-Season for Member Retention<\/h2>\n<p>We all know the stats. Gym attendance in New Zealand typically takes a nosedive in the winter months. While post-pandemic recovery trends are showing a promising rebound, that seasonal dip is a stubborn beast we face every year. It\u2019s a massive headache for retention and revenue.<\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s the thing: Autumn is your secret weapon. The weather is still decent, the kids are settled in school, and people are in a routine.
